The heat will cause the seal to be more flexible for a much easier fit. It withstands temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit.

5.0Very firm lid that creates a tight seal; it was able to hold 3lbs of meat upside down with no problem. The lid still comes off fairly easily. Unique green is useful for identifying ingredients or preventing cross contamination.
